Just a little somethin'...to wet your throat

Why do we always feel the need to explain ourselves? Like who really cares why you do the things you do? No one. It's all about what you're going to do about it. For instance, when a girl is very promiscuous...we automatically assume that she grew up without a daddy. I'm probably one of the most misunderstood people...which is funny because I try not to be too complex due to the fact that some people are slower than others. And I feel that guys like it better when you "dumb it down". HA!!

So here is my attempt to allow you into my head before I get into some serious blogging, and to clear up some common misconceptions about me (for those of you who know me personally).

16 TRUTHS ABOUT MISS LAFITTE:

1.) Miss LaFitte is NOT rich...YET. I just like nice things...that's all.

4.) No, I do not think I'm "all that". In fact,
5.) I used to only date ugly guys because I didn't think I was pretty enough to date the fine ones. But then I realized that you might as well date the fine one because the ugly guy will eventually start thinking he's fine...and that's the worse!
6.) Yes, I have a bad attitude. It comes from bad relationships and the old me letting people walk all over me. I know it's hard to believe that I was once a docile woman.
7.) I secretly want to be Wendy Williams...well, I want her job.
8.) There is a part of me that's really shy. No...seriously.
9.) I will NEVER, EVER, EVER ask a guy out...it's just not natural. I don't care that it's 2009. Hell, it could be 3009 and I still wouldn't do it.
10.) An ex-boyfriend once told me I wasn't "mother material". That was the worst thing that anyone could ever say about me. That's the reason why nothing hurts my feelings.
11.) I believe in karma...and he's getting what he deserves every single day :)
12.) AND...I'M A DAMN GOOD MOTHER!!!
13.) I hate being alone...HATE IT!!
